About the role
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for planning the build schedule and product mix to meet demand requirements. The Master Scheduler will evaluate production capacity and utilization to set production orders to the pace of needed output for our sensors and computer hardware. This individual will act as the interface to manufacturing, materials, and engineering to coordinate daily build activities and output targets.

Responsibilities
- Own the Master Production Schedule. Coordinate BOM updates and Change Control cutovers for new builds
- Ensure a consistent supply of Finished Goods for AHMO to meet demand from all programs it supports.
- Run the Master Production Schedule in the ERP system (SAP). Launch Work Orders, execute transactions, and Provide reports as needed
- Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, assembly configuration, and demand requirements.
- Accountable for knowledge of Material Readiness dates and Capacity Evaluation
- Review out-of-stock situations or shortage of supply issues in order to execute mitigating actions
- Coordinate build schedules, including timely understanding of Manufacturing Lead Times, Change Over times and operations sequencing of assemblies made at AHMO
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet Material Readiness Dates and ensure no production stoppages
- Assist with order management processes. Reconciliation of demand vs. supply
- Identify and manage new parts and BOMs for production cut ins and cut overs
- Review out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues in order to recommend and execute mitigating actions
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing planning issues/variances and perform corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management focus preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in Production and inventory management
- Demonstrated experience with Work Order execution, Material Readiness, Capacity Planning, and inventory management of technical materials – electrical components, PCBA’s, Harnesses, Machined Parts
- Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems and hands-on experience using the tool
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (v-look up, data tables, reporting, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives
- Advanced knowledge of Production Control Management
Bonus Qualifications
- S&OP Demand Planning Experience
- Capacity data modeling
- Interfacing with 3PL providers
- Vendor/supplier negotiation experience
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
