About Us:
CANA Communications, an Eagle Fire owned company, has been helping protect people and property with life safety systems since 1982. We offer a broad range of services and programs in fire alarm, security, and communications systems designed to meet the specific needs of each facility we serve.
The Jr. Installer assists Lead Installers and Field Supervisors with installing and repairing wiring and equipment. Responsibilities include handling tools and materials, keeping work areas clean, and maintaining good relationships with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.
Requirements- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience: No experience required; 1–2 years of construction-related experience preferred.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of tools, wiring, and installation processes.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 70 lbs, and working on ladders.
- Must pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening.
- Must be able to work in construction site environments.
- Reports to Lead Installer or Field Supervisor.
- Assists with drilling, wiring, measuring, and transporting tools and materials.
- Helps maintain equipment and ensures a clean workspace.
- Builds and maintains positive customer relationships.
- Adheres to company policies, confidentiality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Completes tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Demonstrates responsibility, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Follows safety protocols and company procedures.
