- The Junior Software Developer at FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This role is designed to support the software development team in creating efficient and effective software solutions that meet the needs of the company and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test software applications.
- Assist in the debugging and troubleshooting of software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Maintain and update existing software applications as required.
- Document software development processes and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in software development or a related role.
- Experience with programming languages such as  Informix 4GL, Genero BDL, SQL.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Integrations:
- Basic understanding of EDI, XML, Json, APIs or flat file data exchanges

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in coding and debugging.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
