What You Will Do:
Lead a team of bargaining unit workers that are responsible for the induction, teardown, rebuild, and final certification of all Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) engines overhauled in West Palm Beach (WPB).
Participate in meeting all: Environmental Health &Safety (EH&S), Customer, Quality, and Financial goals within the West Palm Beach Geared Turbo Fan (WPB GTF) Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.
Lead by devising and executing operational strategies, production resource scheduling, and continuous improvement, while providing consistent, clear communication with executive leadership, peers, and subordinates.
Collaborate with support teams to establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other top priorities. Engage the workforce in achieving engine delivery / return goals and operational objectives
Communicate cross functional requirements to ensure smooth process flow.
Hold employees accountable while maintaining a quality working relationship.
Maintain and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.

Ensure full involvement in CORE continuous improvement initiatives - utilize CORE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce overall operating cost.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industry; OR an Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industry ; OR an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate and 7 years experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industry We will also consider candidates with 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industry experience, and a high school diploma
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience communicating across all levels of customer leadership to meet business objectives
Experience solving complex business issues and communicating operations strategy to all levels of leadership
