Then this might be an exciting opportunity for you.</p> <p> </p> <p>The role</p> <p>Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system with many parts working in concert. In the audiological solutions group, we are at the forefront of hearing aid development. We contribute to many steps of the development chain, for example, through maturing and specifying novel audio algorithms, optimizing new features and integrating them to our system, or helping to specify and implement testing of our products at all levels, all the while maintaining our existing portfolio of audiological features.</p> <p> </p> <p>In your new role, you will in collaboration with your team have responsibilities that can include:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Innovating, developing and optimizing state-of-the-art audiological algorithms</li> <li>Maintaining, debugging, and improving our existing features</li> <li>Enabling new features and hardware by integrating them to our system</li> <li>Supporting our test efforts by helping the design of test paradigms and advancing our efforts in test automation</li> <li>Revisiting and improving the design of our prescription methods to provide our end-user with an optimal experience tailored to their specific needs</li> <li>Informally listening and testing of our instruments to quickly catch and react on unexpected behaviors</li> </ul> <h2></h2> <p>The setup</p> <p>You will be joining a talented, cross-functional Scrum team of 6 to 9 developers working in close collaboration with other teams to produce full-stack increments of our products according to SAFe practices. Teams are working with high autonomy with support from the business side to set future directions. </p> <p> </p> <p>About you</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>You hold an M.Sc. in Engineering with a background in acoustics, psychoacoustics, signal processing, or similar and preferably previous experience working with audiological systems.</li> <li>You have an analytical mindset and are comfortable breaking down, learning, and navigating complex systems.</li> <li>You have solid foundations in signal processing and Matlab or Python programming.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with acoustic measurements is a plus.</li> <li>You see yourself as a team player who thrives in working in close collaboration with your peers and who values trust and openness.</li> <li>You take an extra step to ensure high quality and documentation of your and your team’s deliverables and you are comfortable navigating a large organization and reaching out to the relevant stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Are you ready to make a change?</p> <p>If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Senior Director for Audiological Solutions, Ole Fogh Olsen by email: oleo@demant.com.
