• Senior Product Manager, AI Builders Experience

    MongoDB · Dublin, Ireland

    about 1 month agoApply →

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategic vision, product strategy, and roadmap for the AI Builders Experience Team. The AI Builders Experience team owns how MongoDB shows up for the rapidly growing community of developers building AI-native applications, with explicit license to explore where this space is heading. This includes our integrations with frameworks like LangChain, Mastra, LlamaIndex and others; the patterns and reference architectures we ship for RAG, agents, and semantic search; and the developer-facing tooling that makes MongoDB the natural choice for AI workloads. You'll also place strategic bets on where the space is going next.

Our customer is the AI application builder, and our job is to deliver an exceptional developer experience for that audience. You should be the kind of PM who lives in the AI builder community, continuously tracking emerging frameworks, tooling, and development patterns, and identifying which deserve a place in MongoDB's portfolio.

You're a strong fit if you have already shipped a product or can demonstrate a side-project where developers were the customer and AI was central to the value proposition. Examples include AI developer tooling such as framework integrations, SDKs/APIs, or agent, evaluation, and observability products. You can walk through what you shipped, who used it, what changed for them, and the decisions you owned along the way.

You'll collaborate closely with a globally distributed engineering team and partners across documentation, developer relations, partnerships, and marketing. Your focus is outward: understanding and serving AI builders where they are.

About the team

We are a highly collaborative team of Product Managers, Engineers, Product Analysts, and Product Marketers, working together to make the experience of building with data, and increasingly with AI, easy and enjoyable for developers.

We are a distributed team, stretching from our offices in Dublin and NYC to other locations in Europe, the US, and Canada. Every now and then, we all meet in one place for project kickoffs, workshops, and team events.

The ideal candidate for this role should have

5+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping developer-facing tools, integrations, SDKs, or APIs

Hands-on experience as a PM who has owned a developer-facing AI product end to end. You can point to a specific product, name the developers who used it, articulate how you moved their experience forward, and describe the strategic and technical tradeoffs you owned along the way
<li&

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe is building a global payments and treasury network—and Local Processor Acquiring (LPA) is how we're rapidly extending that network into the world's fastest-growing markets. The LPA team sits within Global Selling, focused on enabling businesses to accept payments from billions of consumers worldwide without needing to set up local operations.

The problem we're solving is fundamental—the most important payment methods in emerging markets—Korean wallets, PIX in Brazil, UPI in India, QRIS in Indonesia—require local acquiring capabilities that historically took years of work and infrastructure investment to build. Meanwhile, businesses are scaling globally at unprecedented speed and can't wait.

LPA changes the equation entirely. By partnering with best-in-class local processors, we launch a new market in weeks rather than years—delivering local payment methods, higher authorization rates, and dramatically better conversion for cross-border businesses. Since launching in South Korea, we've seen users grow their daily KRW transaction count by over 200%, and our data shows >6% conversion uplift when local payment methods are enabled.

What you'll do

You'll own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Local Processor Acquiring, defining how Stripe expands into new markets at unprecedented speed. You'll be responsible for building a product that makes local payment methods from emerging markets as seamless and reliable as any other payment method on Stripe, while navigating complex regulatory environments, partner relationships, and deeply different local payment ecosystems.

This role sits at the intersection of global strategy, complex money movement, partner management, and developer experience. You'll need to go extremely deep—understanding the nuances of each market's regulations, payment methods, consumer behaviors, and technical constraints—then translate that complexity into elegant product experiences that work for businesses of all sizes.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product strategy for LPA across multiple markets—from partner selection and integration architecture to buyer UX, merchant activation, an
