Product Designer (UX/UI)
Nulegal GmbH · Berlin, Germany
On-site27 days agoApply →nu:legal is building the first AI platform that takes legal, regulatory, and bureaucratic processes off companies' plates end-to-end. Not for law firms, but for the companies themselves, from mid-sized businesses to fast-growing teams that finally want their legal handled without the hassle. We're a small, ambitious team in Berlin/Potsdam. You own the entire design area as the first and central designer in the company. That means no art director and no huge structure. Instead, real influence, real responsibility, and a product you shape from the start. Tasks Own UX as your core focus: plan and run user tests with real users, analyze them, and turn the insights directly into product improvements. Evolve the nu:legal product, from UX concept through UI design to implementation in Figma. Actively maintain and grow our existing design system, components, tokens, and patterns, so it scales with the product and stays usable for engineering. Work closely with engineering, marketing, and management, iteratively and directly. Beyond the product, help shape what we show the outside world: brand, marketing assets, and website. Requirements At least 3 years of professional experience in product design / UX and UI. You can independently run a complete design process. You're a Figma pro: components, variants, auto layout, design tokens, design library. You can make and defend clear, well-reasoned design decisions, even when you're the only designer in the room. You're good at reducing complexity: not leaving things out, but making them understandable. You're comfortable with AI tools and ready to use them to optimize and rethink processes. You bring your own ideas, work in a structured way, and take ownership of the entire design area. You question existing workflows and product decisions, are open to real innovation, and use AI actively as a tool. Benefits Competitive salary plus equity. You build with us, you participate in the upside. Real design ownership over a product from day one. Direct collaboration with the founders and a small, ambitious team. Regular home-office days and one month of remote work anywhere. Top equipment (laptop, design monitor). Application Process Intro call (~30 min): a first read on both sides and a check against the honest "What to expect". Design interview: we go through your portfolio, your process, and your UX decisions together. Practical design task: compact and on real problems, not a throwaway test. Meet the team. Final conversation with the CEO/founder. Offer. Application Include a link to your work (portfolio, case studies, Figma files). You'll convince us more with real content and solid design process and UX decisions than with AI-generated portfolios. We respond to every serious application within two weeks. Senior Product Designer (m/f/d) - FlixTrain Operations Management Platform
Flix · Berlin, Germany
On-siteabout 1 month agoApply →At Flix, we offer a tech-driven environment where innovation meets real-world impact, with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a culture of collaboration and ownership. As a Senior Product Designer in our Supply Division you will help shape our team, influence the future of our Operations Management Platform, and make a direct impact on how FlixTrain operates every day. Our team builds the Operations Management Platform — a greenfield suite of tools that powers how FlixTrain runs its railway operations day to day. This means complex, data-dense software used by dispatchers, fleet managers, and operations teams in a regulated environment where clarity and precision are not a nice-to-have but a safety requirement. Think less "clean consumer app" and more "mission-critical back office that needs to be both efficient and humane". This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that builds software products from scratch. As such, the role involves significant product discovery in the design process, as we work to identify the most efficient and effective workflows and user experiences. Our designers collaborate with several teams working on a single platform, rotating between teams and capabilities. This approach fosters close interaction with another designer, helps to eliminate silos in UX concepts, and ensures a cohesive user experience across the Operations Management Platform being developed by the teams. About the Role Conduct and synthesise user research (user labs, surveys, interviews, usability testing) Contribute to product discovery by shaping ideas, validating assumptions, and identifying opportunities together with product and engineering Apply appropriate frameworks to perform efficient user research and utilise metrics to inform design decisions Facilitate collaboration across product, engineering and business stakeholders to align on design goals Develop wireframes, concepts, features, and interactive prototypes Translate complex operational workflows into interfaces that are clear, learnable, and efficient for expert users under real work conditions Follow and maintain UI guidelines to keep designs consistent Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the design system Work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product owners to develop innovative and user-friendly products About You 5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design for web applications Experience designing complex operational or enterprise software Upper-intermediate level of German and English. Ability to conduct user research and communicate with English- and German-speaking users and stakeholders Strong user-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviours Experience planning, conducting, and synthesising user research Strong proficiency in Figma, visual design, prototyping and usability testing, with the ability to create high-fidelity designs using our internal design system Portfolio demon
