Welcome Center Associate (Part-Time)

Are you organized, reliable, enthusiastic and personable? Do you like working with people with a focus of making their visit the most enjoyable possible? If so, the Tri Community Branch YMCA is looking for you to join the Welcome Center team at the Petro Pool.

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal/ human relations skills, including the ability to establish and maintain a positive work environment with staff, volunteers, and members and the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.

The candidate must also enjoy working in a fast paced environment while paying close attention to detail and dependable. Opportunity for morning coverage/additional hours as needed.

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet all YMCA members, guests and the public 
• Maintain accurate cash and credit card transactions while on shift
• Complete End of Shift Report with 100% accuracy
• Handle operational inquiries
• Properly and accurately check patrons into the pool utilizing our Daxko CRM
• Manage passes & create a friendly atmosphere at the pool
• Enforce pool rules, regulations and capacity maximums
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the workspace
• Housekeeping and other duties as assigned
• Assist with any administrative tasks, requests and follow front desk procedures
• Follow all guidelines and policies according to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts including following emergency procedures when necessary 
• Follow all child protection guidelines
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required 
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred
• Able to use and navigate on a computer and computer related systems

Schedule: Flexible Schedule Availability Preferred. 

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
