What this job involves
The Warehouse Clerk performs general warehouse functions while maintaining asset and inventory compliance with facilities operating procedures. This role involves managing all warehouse-related activities including asset storage, inventory management system maintenance, and collaboration with client stakeholders and account teams to oversee moveable asset disposal processes. The position requires coordination with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support for materials management.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Manage warehouse activities including ensuring assets are stored in designated bin locations and maintaining asset data in inventory management system
- Partner with third-party vendors to manage weekly move activities and collaborate with stakeholders on asset disposal programs
- Conduct periodic aesthetic inspections in warehouse space and coordinate delivery/removal of lab equipment and moveable assets with client stakeholders
- Perform periodic inventory control cycle counts for moveable assets and monthly emergency supplies inventory counts
- Execute cataloging and tagging processes for moveable residential, office, and lab assets managed in space management systems
- Work closely with Facilities support team to coordinate storage and removal of items and moveable assets
- Represent Facilities team for recurring client events and logistics coordination
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse inventory and assets of varying weights
- Extended periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout warehouse facilities
- Climbing ladders and accessing high storage areas for inventory management
- Manual dexterity required for cataloging, tagging, and organizing warehouse materials
- Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks
- Working in warehouse environment with temperature variations and noise from equipment
- Driving to various locations for asset coordination and delivery activities
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience with demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations
- Proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable working with various systems and software
- Ability to work independently while prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills with ability to foster relationships and engage leadership
- Self-motivated with desire to grow and excel in a high-performing organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), specifically Corrigo platform
- Background in pharmaceutical environments and related compliance requirements
- Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships
- Familiarity with asset disposal processes and compliance procedures
- Background in materials management or MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) support
