Project Details:

We are thrilled to share that De Goey Contractors (DGC) has been engaged to deliver multiple local shutdowns and project works in Mackay, commencing July 2025 with six months of continuous shutdown and project work.

Scope of works includes:

• Marine Piling Works
• Strengthening of the Berth Structure to facilitate new Ship Loader
• Structural remediation of Offshore Berth Structures
• Concrete Remediation of Offshore Berth Structures
• Coating remediation of Offshore Berth Structures
• Pile wrapping of Offshore Berth Structures
• Stacker/Reclaimer Upgrades
• Rail Dumper Upgrades
• Material Handling Project work
• Offsite fabrication and coating at our new start of the art Facility

• Coatings, Mechanical and Structural Supervisors
• Project Engineers
• Project Managers
• Estimators
• Blaster Painters (Onsite/Offsite)
• Boilermakers (Onsite/Offsite)
• Scaffolders
• Riggers
• Form workers and Carpenters
• Mechanical Fitters
• Trade Assistants
• Site Cleaners/Peggys

FIFO and DIDO are encouraged to Apply

About the Role:

• Various Rosters Options Available – 4/3, 5/2, 6/1.
• Onsite and Offsite locations available
• 12-hour shifts
• FIFO and DIDO Positions available with flights, camp accommodation, and bus transfers to and from work included

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Industry experience
• Trade-specific qualifications and/or experience
• High Risk Tickets (FL,DG,RA,SA)
• A willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
• A valid driver’s licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space (desirable)
