• JOB TITLE: Desktop Support Engineer

• SALARY: £35,340

• LOCATION(S): Watford

• HOURS: Full-time

• WORKING PATTERN: This is onsite based 5 days at our Watford office.

About this Opportunity

Being a Systems Engineer means you're part of a team dedicated to supporting and improving the Tusker IT environment. The Tusker IT environment can be divided into the following parts:

• Production web infrastructure

• Pre-production web infrastructure

• Office infrastructure

• Office desktop support

The focus of this role will be to support and improve the office infrastructure and office desktop support.

Tusker has had a blend of fully remote and hybrid (remote and office) working practices, and this is expected to continue going forward with escalation point, tackling higher level tech issues, supporting new projects related to support, completing subject access requests. Please note that this role is office based at and on site at our Watford site.

What you’ll need

• Being able to maintain a can do attitude, possessing excellent communication skills, and demonstrating both teamwork and independent work capabilities are necessary.

• Desktop Support including building both Windows machines and Macs. Troubleshooting user issues, Support MS Office products in creation, management and deletion of user accounts across all systems as required, this will involve using Active Directory and 3rd party systems, e.g. Salesforce and NetSuite. Setting up an Administer DUO for 2-factor authentication. Printer support, resolve errors and issues onsite. Providing email support to users both desktop and laptops builds including patching

• Networking including setting VPN access and solving issues experienced by existing VPN users and supporting the office wi-fi

• Telephony Includes supporting the Tusker softphone system, Tusker call centre software, including IVR setup and mobile phones (Android and iOS, Apple)

• Office supports the office back-up routine and the office CCTV and entry system (fob and biometrics)

And any experience of these would be really useful

• Previous desktop support or any IT relevant role

• Experience with of programmes desirable - Five9, Endpoint Central, Salesforce, Active directory, Mimecast, DUO, Meraki, Office 365
