Transportation Engineer V; Pharr District (Advanced Project Delivery) - (2600380) Position Information 

The TxDOT Pharr District is looking for a Transportation Engineer V to join the Advanced Project Delivery (APD) section located in Pharr, TX. In this role, you will guide and oversee a team of engineers in delivering complex transportation projects that support the district’s mission and statewide transportation goals. Working closely with co-workers on assigned projects, you will assist in the overall management of the APD section. The selected candidate will be involved in the full project development process (from concept to completion), ensuring that all efforts align with agency priorities such as safety, sustainability, and mobility. This position plays a key role in mentoring staff, promoting innovation in design and project delivery methods, and fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners, to ensure successful outcomes. We have a friendly office environment that will make your everyday enjoyable. This position will serve as a Local Government Lead Worker/Project Manager.

Salary Range:

Transportation Engineer V (B28): $114,000 - $156,612/annually

                                                         $9,500 - $13,051/monthly
