Community Solutions is seeking a passionate Training & Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at The Learning Institute located in Southington, CT. This individual will be responsible for promoting and delivering professional development and continuous program improvement for CSI and external customers. This individual will identify project and/or department inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement, as well as research, develop and implement training programs and new curricula for internal and external initiatives. This individual will also conduct quality assurance tape review, strength-based and accurate coaching and feedback, provide written reports, and facilitate meetings, as needed.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Essential functions include but are not limited to:

Work collaboratively with training staff to set a vision for internal training for CSI

Ongoing evaluation of CSI staff training needs across departments and in programs.

Develop and implement new streamlined processes and procedures throughout the training department.

Prioritize and schedule activities with the residential programs.

Increase the access and availability of training and professional development.

Provide on-site and virtual observations and coaching.

Identify new training needs, research best practices, and develop associated curriculum.

Contribute to developing and maintaining a virtual and web-based training library (internal).

Act as a liaison between CSI departments and the Learning Institute.

Develop relationships with experts in the field and coordinate related training efforts as needed.

Contribute to the development of department databases; use information systems to record data, produce reports, and analyze trends.

Create, prepare and conduct in-service training courses for all CSI training tracks, including orientation, and basic and advanced-level courses. Ensure that all contract requirements are met, based on program requirements

Prepare and conduct quality assurance activities including tape review, strength based and accurate coaching/feedback sessions, research, informational meetings, written and statistical reports, for CSI staff and customers

Collaborate with training staff/ manage the preparation and maintenance of quarterly training calendars, monthly reports, semi-annual reports and/or databases.

Research and develop training curricula, quality assurance advances and resources to meet the needs of CSI’s organizational and annual plan goals.

Facilitate virtual or onsite training and on-the-job-training to enhance program quality.

Develop and facilitate innovative conference presentations on CSI training and quality assurance initiatives.

Assist in preparing RFP’s for programs, training and quality assurance.

Participate and/or lead agency committees, particularly the Learning Committee, consistently promoting professional and programmatic development.

Remain current on and advocate for best practices in the fields of Child Protection, Juvenile Justice, Criminal Justice, and Mental Health, as well as current CSI program models and approaches.

Promote improved practices and/or new innovations across the organization.
