What impact you will have
We seek an experienced Technical Partner Manager to lead the technical and engineering engagement with our technology partners, including server OEMs, semiconductor manufacturers, networking OEMs, data center design firms and others.
In this role, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of our hardware solutions into broader technology landscapes. You will also oversee technical programs that drive innovation, adoption, and collaboration within the ecosystem.
The Technical Partner Manager will work closely with the sales team, build whole product solutions that include immersion cooling, and align partner technologies to create comprehensive solutions that address customer needs.
What you’ll do
Technical and Engineering Engagement
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and technology partners, ensuring alignment on product integration and development goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams from partner organizations to design and validate solutions that incorporate liquid immersion cooling technology.
- Oversee technical enablement programs to educate and support partners on the integration and use of our hardware products.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, sales) to align ecosystem initiatives with business objectives.
- Interlock with Submer product engineering to ensure that future product development incorporates features necessary to support our ecosystem.
- Monitor market trends in IT hardware (e.g., edge computing, AI, server infrastructure, HPC,..) to identify opportunities for ecosystem growth.
Reference Architectures Development
- Develop detailed reference architectures that demonstrate the integration of partner technologies (e.g., GPUs, CPUs, servers, network, layouts, MEP, fluid) with our liquid immersion cooling solutions.
- Identify opportunities to combine multiple partner technologies into larger, cohesive architectures tailored for specific use cases like AI training, HPC workloads, or cloud computing.
- Ensure reference architectures are scalable, energy-efficient, and meet industry standards.
Partner Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong engineering relationships with key partners to foster long-term collaboration.
- Collect feedback from partners to improve product offerings and address potential challenges in adoption.
Sales Team Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer engagements.
- Present reference architectures and integrated solutions to customers, highlighting the benefits of liquid immersion cooling for their workloads.
- Support pre-sales activities by addressing technical inquiries and assisting in solution design.
- Work with marketing to create technically accurate collateral highlighting our solutions.
Ecosystem Growth
- Identify new partnership opportunities with technology providers that complement our liquid immersion cooling solutions.
- Advocate for the adoption of liquid immersion cooling within the broader data center ecosystem by participating in industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ecosystem management, technical partnerships, or a related role within the data center or IT hardware industry.
