ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Technical Leader to join our rapidly growing team in Reston, Virginia.You will be a part of a group amazingly talented people focused on delivering mission outcomes through technology. You will help lead the delivery of high stakes, high profile, complex customer programs while strengthening our engineering and program-specific capabilities across the business line.We are looking for someone who has experience designing → building → and delivering complex customer programs requiring both technical knowledge and leadership skills to set objectives, build teams, and drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to deliver highly complex, optimized, multi-disciplinary products and programs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead inter-disciplinary team (e.g., Software, Hardware, Robotics, T&E) focussing on autonomous systems uncrewed systems and robotics across a variety of different mission operations.
  • Set technical vision and define system architecture to guide overarching development efforts
  • Establish and maintain best practices for system development, including software standards, code reviews, configuration management, build processes, testing, etc.
  • Support engagements with the customer as the technical SME
  • Travel up to 25% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities at Anduril test ranges and customer-directed sites

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related technical field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in autonomous systems and defense applications
  • Experience in a technical management/engineering role, leading teams to integrate software and hardware solutions
  • Experience executing UAS programs including, but not limited to
    • Payload integration
    • Navigation
    • Autonomy
    • Communications
    • Sensing
  • Must work five days in the Northern Virginia office.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SITL and HITL simulation environments and the execution of comprehensive testing programs
  • Rapid integration timeline and field testing/field deployment
  • Prior work on aerial autonomous platforms in a defense or commercial context
  • Systems architecture experience at the payload integration level

 

US Salary Range$182,000$273,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
