Sustainability Intern - Summer 2025

Join us this summer and take meaningful steps toward a career in sustainability! As a Sustainability Intern at Fenix Outdoor, you’ll contribute to real-world projects that support our group sustainability strategy, ranging from reducing environmental impacts at major events to designing greener retail spaces. This hands-on internship is ideal for a student who is passionate about sustainability and eager to apply their skills in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

This is a full-time, temporary internships position based in Louisville, CO. The expected wage for this internship is $18 per hour.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Project Support & Research

• Assist with the creation of Sustainable Store Design Guidelines for North American Fjällräven brand retail locations
• Conduct an environmental risk and opportunity assessment for Fenix Outdoor’s business in the Americas
• Research and recommend product end-of-life solutions for damaged goods

Field Experience & Data Collection

• Support impact reduction initiatives at the Fjällräven Classic USA event in July 2025
• Collect data and help implement strategies for lowering environmental impacts across operations and events

Collaboration & Global Engagement

• Partner with the Global CSR team on ongoing sustainability projects
• Learn from and support the North American Sustainability team, reporting directly to the Sustainability Analyst

WHO YOU ARE

Experience and Technical Skills

• Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Natural Sciences, Sustainability/CSR, Legal/Compliance, Business Administration or Communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in translating scientific or technical concepts for general audiences
• Fluent in English; additional languages (esp. Spanish, Swedish, German, or French) are a plus

• Organized, responsible, and excited to contribute meaningfully to sustainability efforts

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in Louisville, CO and travel to the Fjällräven Classic USA event in July 2025
