Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field or 5 years of experience in Security Services or related field including 2 years of leadership experience.
Required Credentials
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required within 90 days of employment) CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification (Annual Requirement) required within 90 days of employment Safety Cares Certification if required at location (Annual Requirement) required within 90 days of employment Completion of NCI Autism Training required within 90 days of employment Completion of Seattle Children’s Safe Firearms Training required within 90 days of employment Completion of Car Seat Safety Training within 90 days of employment Certificate of Completion for ICS-100, FEMA Emergency Management Institute- Introduction to the Incident Command System required within 90 days of employment Certificate of Completion for IS-37.25 Managerial Safety and Health, FEMA Emergency Management Institute required within 90 days of employment Score of 80% or above on Seattle Children’s Security Supervisor Competency Exam.
Preferred
5 years of service as a Security Officer at Seattle Children’s Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to Risk Management Completion of Wheelchair vehicle Training
Compensation Range
$71,578.00 - $107,366.00 per yearSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
