Summer 2025 – Software Research Intern (T&M)

As a Test & Measurement Research Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of the long-term innovation cycle. Successfully completing one or more Research/Software Engineer Internship may also lead to an offer for an exciting, full-time software engineering position! 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

Research next-generation user experience concepts and tooling to drive AI-powered connectivity and insights for test engineers working in a validation lab.

You are someone who works collaboratively in a group environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. You take initiative, can be resourceful, and can make progress on work independently. You take ownership of your goals, regularly check-in, and ask questions in a timely manner to ensure success of project and tasks.  

 

For this Role, You Will Need: 

• Pursuing a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, engineering physics, mechatronics, physics, or software engineering 

• Knowledge and understanding of computers and exposure to high-level programming languages (C#/Python/C++) 

• Knowledge of the following concepts and principles:  

• Data Structures and Software Architecture 

• UX Design 

• Generative AI 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

• Pursuing Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, engineering physics, mechatronics, physics, or software engineering 

• GPA at or above: 3.5 for masters, 3.7 for Ph.D. 

• Experience with modern UI technology stacks (Angular/Vue/React/etc.) 

• Experience interacting with modern generative AI models
