Job Description:

The two Focus/design editors are responsible for supervising and designing Focus Magazine once per semester, with content curated from the Lariat staff. These responsibilities include leading the Lariat staff in developing a theme for the magazine and supervising content creation throughout the semester. The editors are responsible for designing the magazine and may also contribute writing and photography as needed.

The Focus/design editors also design Lariat pages on a weekly basis during times when Focus content is being developed and not ready for editing/design.

Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility  
Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications 
Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly 
Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively  
Ability to comply with University policies  
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
