Student Research Assistant

Description

Level VIII ($18 per hour):

Extensive background in philosophy, particularly ethics and philosophy of mind, and of psychological methods, including statistics, survey design and interviewing procedures. Experience managing a complex research project. Expertise in making and administer surveys using Qualtrics. Expertise in using a software program to analyze behavioral data e.g. SPSS. Experience with manuscript and figure preparation for academic publication. Demonstrated ability to manage undergraduates involved in a research project.

For other undergrads at level III ($15 per hour):

 

Appropriate background in related academic areas, including working knowledge of at least two or more of the following areas: ethical theory, philosophy of mind, recent advances in artificial intelligence, computer coding, behavioral statistics, survey design, and/or social science interviewing procedures. Some prior research experience. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a cooperative team.
