The base salary range for this role is $121,000 per year - $206,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

As a member of the Fanatics Experience Design team, you’ll lead design projects of significant scope, complexity and responsibility in vision, strategy and execution, meaning limitless opportunities for you to turn your ideas into reality. This role focuses on the tools and platform our internal team members use to craft exceptional customer experiences, inclusive of our CMS, personalization platform, customer service tools, and more. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary UX, product management and engineering squad to frame user needs and behavior, define optimal user flows and interactions, and ultimately deliver thoughtful and polished experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and own key initiatives for the internal platform driving our product experiences across the FBG ecosystem, helping to craft the vision for your feature area by identifying new opportunities and prioritizing enhancements.
  • Working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product managers, experience researchers, content designers, fellow designers) to drive design vision and strategy that meets the needs of our internal and external customers.
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration efforts like workshops & design sprints in order to generate and evaluate creative solutions in a highly cross-functional focus area.
  • Applying strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts and communicate them effectively and compellingly for internal stakeholders, partners and customers.
  • Building positive, collaborative relationships with product management, development, marketing, and the broader UX team, as well as continuously "raising the bar" as an effective leader of positive change.
  • Leveraging cross-functional leadership skills to help to guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes
  • Being an active mentor for senior designers, and helping lead critique, design reviews, and planning.
  • Create detailed user flows, wireframes, etc., communicating UX clearly to relevant teams and the rationale for decisions that were made. Lead more junior designers in your feature area in the creation of high-quality deliverables that reflect high-quality thinking and decision-making.
  • Writing and maintaining UX documentation on design elements, patterns, layouts, and user flows, including usage guidelines and best practices. Lead more junior designers in your feature area throughout the process of creating high-quality documentation.
  • Address and design for the entire user experience, including edge-cases and unhappy paths.
