• Salary will be based on level of experience and skillset within the salary range provided below: $65,000 – $75,000 base salary

What you’ll be doing:

· Perform various journal entries for period-end close

· Play a vital role in the period-end close process

· Be our fixed asset expert

· Prepare periodic balance sheet account reconciliations

· Handle our prepaid expense accounts

· Reconcile multiple bank accounts

· Update daily cash sheets with banking activity

· Manage sales tax payments and filings

· Work with the team to post daily sales reports and weekly inventory and payroll entries

· Support the Controller and Accounting Manager with the annual audit

· Special projects as assigned by the Controller or the Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience, staff level or higher

· General understanding of GAAP

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively

· Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal direction

· A proactive, self-motivated person who thrives in a startup environment
