Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the “jewel” of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

Sr Engineer Manufacturing Electrical Systems position will Lead some develop processes, systems and best practices associated with world class manufacturing and testing automation in support of the operation and maintenance of production assets. Coordinate projects and provide technical support on new and existing machine tools for the production operations. There will be direct involvement in new equipment selection, approval drawings, component specification, recommend spare parts attainment, maintenance training requirements, preventive maintenance recommendations, manual and documentation procurement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive
  • Practical application of ergonomics and a good understanding of OSHA requirements machine tools
  • Experience in ControLogix/RSLogix 5000, Power Flex 700 Variable Frequency Drives, DeviceNet Communication, and EtherNet IP Communication
  • Experience in all aspects of machine tool controls (CNC & PLC)
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive
  • Knowledge in PLC software, Graphical design systems, numerical control, word processing and spreadsheet programs

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

HS Diploma Required

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Experience with PLC software and Graphical Design Systems

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
