The Position 

We are a rapidly growing healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance to lead and manage our Quality Assurance processes and resources. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for defining, building, implementing and leading all aspects of our software quality assurance.  You will also lead efforts to develop and maintain our QA test automation framework ensuring its implementation is integrated seamlessly into our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.   The role partners very closely with Product Management, Engineering Leaders, and lead/principal Software Engineer(s) from other teams. Our products generate actionable business and clinical insights for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Development leadership to define and implement QA methodology and processes, including but not limited to: testing guidelines, standards, and tooling for entire scope of testing – System, Integration, End to End, Load, API and functional automation
• Establish, publish and report QA metrics and KPI’s
• Define, development and maintain QA test automation framework and test scripts
• Perform hands on development of test automation scripts and framework enhancements as necessary
• Update and maintain JIRA workflows to include QA workflows as necessary
• Manage, lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence

Who You Are 

Skills/Knowledge: 

• Proven track record of designing and implementing the QA methodology for entire Product Development organization responsible for delivering a cloud-native, multi-tenant, commercial solution 
• Hands on QA test automation manager with experience developing and implement scalable test automation framework(s)
• Proven track record of leading QA test automation teams that consistently deliver test automations for cloud-native, commercial software through an agile software development methodology 
• Loves working in a startup environment that moves fast and constantly delivers high quality solutions
• 10+ years of professional experience in test automation delivery with a desire manage and lead QA test automation engineers (domestic and offshore)
• Not afraid to code automated test scripts which validate frontend, backend (API) cloud native software and share your knowledge with direct reports
• High degree of familiarity with software development processes, tools, metrics, and best practices.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Math or other STEM related fields
• 10+ years of experience in QA Test Automation 
• 5+ years of experience with QA testing tools like Selenium, Postman (API) and technologies like Python and Java
• 3+ years in People Management roles
• Strong technical skills in software test design and development, with proficiency in architecting and designing QA automation frameworks and services
• Strong experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and remove your team’s impediments and enable them to consistently meet their commitments
• Proven track record in accelerating software delivery while improving software quality and accuracy
• Experience leading offshore resources

Preferred:

• Experience testing BI and data visualization applications in a multi-tenant environment
• Prior experience working in a growth stage, start-up environment
• Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including familiarity with pharmacy data, EHR and claims data, or other relevant healthcare dat
