The Senior Business Associate position is responsible for the global non-employee resource planning and vendor management activities for the Internal Audit (IA) Resource & Budget Management (RBM) organization. Activities and tasks may include detailed non-employee analysis, reporting, activities related to organizational design and needs, and ongoing non-employee utilization assessment and monitoring. This position works closely with other members of the RBM team assisting with financial planning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead non-employee resource planning and vendor management processes
- Manage and track non-employee outlook and budget in partnership with Chief Auditors across IA and other key partners at Citi Finance, Human Resources / Talent Acquisition, Operations & Technology, and other key internal stakeholders
- Monitor and track expenses, accruals and adjustments
- Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure that established guidelines/policies are adhered to and updated as necessary
- Lead non-employee staff onboarding and offboarding process, analysis and alignment of teams for Internal Audit globally
- Manage reporting for non-employee and vendor initiatives, including timely submittal of materials requested by regulators
- Review non-employee resourcing changes, supply & demand, location strategy, and headcount and staffing-related data to ensure adherence to principles and data quality
- Provide periodic reporting and staffing-related recommendations to senior management clearly and concisely
- Provide ad hoc analysis as deemed necessary, working with the multiple stakeholders including Chief Auditors, Human Resources, and Finance functions
- Support Work Force Management activities on behalf of IA and change management processes impacting non-employee position management, demand & capacity planning and resources adequacy
- Directly reports and provides support to the Internal Audit Resource & Budget Management Finance and Strategic Projects SVP
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with vendor management, finance functions and systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment and flexibility to work hours necessary to meet tight deadlines
- A self-starter, self-confident individual who is detailed oriented, has well developed listening skills, can engage a small group and possess the ability to identify and escalate issues as they arise
- Effective negotiation and data analysis skills. This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic, and approachable style
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including proficiency in Excel / Access/ PowerPoint

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
