Job Summary:

As a global leader in server technologies, Supermicro has been growing extremely fast in may key markets such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, HPC, Storage, etc. To meet the market demand, Supermicro is developing end to end enterprise IT solutions with compute, storage, networking all integrated into full rack or multi-rack level systems. Supermicro is seeking a Solution Manager who can work with enterprise customers and win business with enterprise and data center solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Support the Solution Engineering team by being responsible for winning enterprise customers and increasing solution revenue
• Carry out marketing and technological research to help decision making on solution development directions
• Lead in solution development, work with design, testing engineers to enable new enterprise and data center solutions
• Support in pre-sales engagement by working with customers closely and providing creative solutions that meet requirements of demanding customers
• Manage solution integration projects from design to delivery, achieve the best customer satisfaction
• Improve revenue by collaborating with channel partners and technology partners to expand the ecosystems
• Improve revenue by working with sales, marketing closely and promoting new solutions effectively
• Provide solution trainings to internal organizations, partners, resellers and end customers

Qualifications:

• BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS with 5+ years relevant experience preferred
• Deep knowledge in latest compute, storage, networking technologies and solution engineering principles
• Strong capability of bridging engineering and business groups, capable of translating good engineering to good business
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills and the capability of working in cross-functional organizations
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Ability to lead complex projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to meet customers

Salary Range: $109,000 - $133,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
