The Wearable Camera team is a part of Facebook Reality Labs. We are the team behind our Smart Glasses and focusing on more exciting wearable platforms. As a Camera Engineer on the Reality Labs team at Meta, you can help build new, innovative hardware and software that radically redefine the way people capture, share and connect.   • Develop optimized Framework and SDK solutions for Meta Devices ecosystem
  • Design, code, review, and tests camera related software features for Camera Frameworks interacting lower levels of the camera stack, including Camera HAL, Multimedia subsystems and Linux kernel.
  • Design and develop system-level software for camera and imaging systems for AR products
  • Defining Camera APIs for expanding feature set for Wearable Platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with development of Camera Systems Software with focus on Frameworks between application and HAL domains
  • Experience with camera APIs and understanding of Video and Image Capture pipeline for embedded devices
  • Experience working on camera stack on iOS, Android or other mobile platforms
  • Experience developing and debugging in C/C++/Java
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Android Camera Frameworks
  • Experience with ISP Hardware blocks and programming and their efficient use through unified Framework interfaces
  • Experience with Qualcomm Hardware & ISP
  • Robust understanding of Android Services, Operating System components and build ecosystem
