General Notes
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail; show proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working both independently as well as with a team. The Research Associate will be provided with training in clinical assessments and will gain experience in general research administration and the preparation of publications and conference presentations.

Position is a fixed-term 1 year position.
Responsibilities
Coordinating recruitment efforts for an ongoing clinical trial that examines a community based aerobic exercise intervention for smoking cessation in adults with high anxiety sensitivity.
Organizing and overseeing data collection and study protocols, including management, cleaning, and preparation of data collected via online survey platforms (REDCap, R-Studio, Qualtrics).
Interfacing with research and clinical staff to maintain effective communication regarding participant scheduling, data management, and quality control.
Conducting clinical interviews and preparing assessments.
Maintaining and revising IRB protocols and assisting with research compliance reports and procedures.
Supervision of undergraduate students conducting data entry and other tasks.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field and prior research experience (including experience as a student) though relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
Has prior research experience in a psychology lab, speaks English and Spanish, and has experience with the data management and use of software programs for statistical analysis such as REDCap and R-Studio.
