Summary:
GEICO’s Containers OS Language Runtimes team is seeking an experienced Senior TPM who are passionate in driving business critical strategic programs across several workstreams and stakeholders. This is a newly created organization with a deep focus to enable optimal cloud capacity for all application teams to run enterprise-wide products. Our workloads are spread between On-prem, Azure, and AWS and you will have exciting opportunities to solve complex problems in Hybrid-cloud model. Description:
As a Sr. TPM, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing organizational leadership to innovate, design, and optimize container runtimes, operating systems, and language runtime environments. You will drive the strategic technical roadmap, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and unlocking new engineering capabilities. Additionally, you will maintain GEICO's operating systems, contribute to the upstream Linux community, and optimize runtimes for Java, GoLang, Node.js, Python, and .NET environments.
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. TPM, you will:
Partner with key stakeholders from Capacity Planning, IaaS, PaaS, Performance & Reliability, and others to understand program requirements, ensure alignment and influence teams to deliver against the project plans.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and monitor detailed end-to-end cloud infrastructure project plans across IaaS, datacenter operations, supply chain logistics, planning, tooling and contracts management.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in project/program management, with a focus on private / public cloud computing or hyperscale datacenter infrastructure providers.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools (ADO), and best practices.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain or equivalent education or work experience.
Annual Salary
$130,000.00 - $260,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consider
