The Radar Systems Engineer will be the primary point-of-contact for the AN/TPY-2 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) deployed radars. They will provide engineering reach-back support to the site engineers, coordinate issue resolution, and assess radar performance through data analysis. This individual will work directly with area Subject Matter Experts to develop troubleshooting and corrective action plans for a range of issues including mechanical, electrical, microwave, software and cyber security. The individual may also work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, logisticians, and maintenance planners.
This position is an onsite role at the Woburn, MA location. Domestic and international travel up to 20%.
What You Will Do
Provide guidance to site radar engineers and develop fault isolation procedures, identification of root cause, and implementation of corrective actions
Maintenance event planning with site team, Logistics, and Maintenance planners
Participate in integration planning, executing verification/validation events, performing analysis, and providing status updates and reach-back assistance to program engineers/leads
Support analysis activities and products with group lead, engineering management, and government personnel responsible for executing analysis tasks
Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language.
Experience with systems Integration, test, data analysis, and/or verification.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience executing test, integration, or verification and validation of X-Band family of radars, Early Warning Radars or other Missile Defense System sensors.
Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification, and validation test analysis.
Experience with creating test procedures, test plans, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation.
Experience working on international programs
