SUMMARY: Verify suppliers are capable of achieving and maintaining quality standards set forth by Lincoln Industries. This role will work directly with the global supply chain department to perform supplier assessments, periodic audits to ensure standards are consistently achieved, and supplier performance scorecards to continuously monitor supplier performance. In addition to tracking supplier quality performance, this role will serve as a subject matter expert to the suppliers and be responsible for communicating and resolving quality issues with the supplier.

- Develop good working relationships with Lincoln Industries suppliers.
- Oversees supplier performance to ensure accuracy and improvement progress.
- Perform quality related portion of supplier assessments.
- Conduct periodic supplier quality audits.
- Maintain quality portion of supplier scorecards.
- Coordinate supplier corrective action.
- Communicate specification changes to suppliers.
- Manage supplier PPAP events.
- Monitors quality of goods from suppliers and coordinates the reject/return/debit process with suppliers, as needed, through the Lincoln Industries non-conforming parts areas (NCP) and inspect finished goods (INSP-FG).
- Work with strategic supplier’s management to focus supplier resources around quality improvements and cost reductions.
- Works with Lincoln Industries Global Supply Chain team to focus on critical issues related to cost of quality.
- Disposition material through ERP System (Navision).
- Utilize the Six Sigma Process to analyze supplier quality issues and drive improvements.
- Develop and maintain communications about supplier quality issues in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and suppliers, by communicating openly, honestly and constructively, treating all employees with dignity, respect and courtesy.
- Responsible for maintenance and growth of NCP (non-conforming product) strategy as it relates to purchased parts.
- Responsible for the agreement and coordination of fallout reconciliation and liability involving Lincoln Industries with suppliers.
- Communicate supplier status to Sourcing Engineers on a quality basis
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
- Reports to: Manager, Global Sourcing
- Supervises: NCP and INSP-FG Inspectors
