Job Description:

We seek a passionate and versatile developer interested in building innovative and evolving products with one of DTN’s product teams. We’re growing and looking for strong individuals interested in working on multi-disciplined teams in a collaborative and open environment. You’ll have opportunities to play key roles in product planning, design, prototyping, and execution. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work with our Product Management team to ensure both requested features and proposed solution align and meet architectural standards 

• Analyze functional and technical requirements, raising any potential issues as well as opportunities for cost reduction and/or performance improvement 

• Design, Develop, and Test web, mobile, and API solutions across the full web stack 

• Integration of custom and 3rd party package or code application with a strict focus on maintainability and efficiency 

• Function in a SCRUM based Agile environment requiring the frequent release of functional code 

• Perform test planning and execution as required 

• Establish and maintain technology standards, and evaluate new tools and techniques 

Required Technical Skills: 

• Experience in developing an API using RESTful services built using Node.js 

• Experience consuming both REST and GraphQL APIs 

• Experience working with PostgreSQL. 

• Deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript  

• Experience with React and the React ecosystem 

• Experience or familiarity with Next.js or Express.js 

• Solid understanding of source control and versioning using Git 

Desired Technical Skills: 

• Experience with .NET core framework and Angular. 

• Experience with user interface design 

• Well versed in standards-compliant, accessible, and SEO friendly HTML 

• Technical understanding of a range of relational and non-relational databases 

• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Gitlab Pipelines 

• Experience with data stream solutions such as Kafka 

• Broad knowledge of CSS including selectors, specificity, and the cascade 

Education Requirements: 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

• Team-oriented and assertive 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative programming environment 

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $121,500 and $135,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeting hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
