Senior Quality Data Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Develop and implement comprehensive data quality assurance processes
  
• Conduct data comparison and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.
  
• Monitor data quality metrics and perform regular audits.
  
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to enhance data processing efficiency.
  
• Create and maintain data validation scripts and tools.
  
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data quality checks into ETL processes.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
  
• Communicate data quality issues and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.
  
• Provide data quality training and support to team members.
  
• Document data quality processes and best practices.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience in data quality assurance, or a similar role.
  
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Experience with data comparison tools and techniques.
  
• Familiarity with data governance and data management principles.

• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
  
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
