The Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center (NWCO) is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager position to join the NWCO Team.  Please note that this is a limited position with an end date of 12/31/2030, with the possibility of extension. 

National Western Center Redevelopment Program
The National Western Center represents a visionary transformation of the National Western Complex into a sustainable, year-round destination for the next 100 years. The revolutionary campus will provide a broad focus on entertainment, food, animal health and performance, water, energy, agriculture, rodeo, livestock, equestrian, and sustainability and the environment. Currently 110 acres, future phases  will expand the program  to 250-acres of multi-use facilities and community amenities in the heart of Denver. Construction within the 110-acre Phases I & II boundary started in 2018 with an anticipated completion date of 2028.   

The Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center (NWCO) is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of the new campus. Key partners include National Western Center Authority, Western Stock Show Association, Colorado State University, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and History Colorado – a collaboration that blends education, research, culture, and heritage. Our mission is clear: Convene the world at the National Western Center to lead, inspire, create, educate, and entertain in pursuit of global food solutions. 

This position will require close coordination with campus partners, specifically, the National Western Center Authority.  The Authority is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining the NWC campus.

What We Offer 

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000.00. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but is not limited to:

Location 

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
