Job Description:

The Senior Principal for the Incentive Compensation Risk Management Program ("ICRM") will be responsible for managing some of the Program's primary components, inclusive of reporting and analytics. This includes applying thought leadership to process enhancements, implementation of new developments, streamlining existing procedures and introducing automation opportunities associated with the following primary components:

  • Managing the Covered Employee Identification process.
  • Driving the development and distribution of Risk Scorecards for executive and senior management.
  • Supporting the manager with key activities within the Risk Review process.
  • Partnering with the manager to identify opportunities to enhance the design and governance of Program components, ensuring regulatory compliance with the Guidance on Sound Incentive Compensation Policies.
  •  Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development, implementation, and administration of the above-named primary components.
  • Ability to perform all assignments with significant attention to quality, accuracy, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the reporting and analytic space to create a series of reports that will give leadership a clear and concise view into the ICRM Program. Provide a balanced skill set of business acumen and experience with reporting and data storytelling.
  •  Collaborate and build relationships with assigned Data Providers, Risk Officers, and other business partners across the enterprise such as Legal and Human Resources to ‘open the door’ for sharing feedback on potential Program improvements.
  • Collect root cause data and analyze Issue records for accuracy of events, accountability and behaviors which will guide discussions with leadership about compliance risks, issue management and potential egregious risk taking.
  • Oversee and manage ICRM-related procedures, monitoring for potential weaknesses and identifying solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of controls. Escalate risks and issues timely.
  •  Provide guidance and related services to Covered Employees related to the scope and guidelines of the ICRM Program, to drive transparency, accountability, and proactivity in response to results.
  • Work alongside manager to enhance the ICRM Program components, providing process improvement, ad-hoc analysis and strategy optimization through thought leadership. Assist with research on incentive compensation & conduct and ethics governance topics.
  • Assist with the development, and delivery of, executive-level materials; Interact regularly with officers across the organization.
  •  Proactively acquire knowledge and industry best practices pertaining to incentive compensation & conduct and ethics to provide insights to our Program’s issues and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management
  • 8+ years Project Management, Compensation, Risk, Compliance, or other regulatory experience or related.
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years Project Management, Compensation, Risk, Compliance, or other regulatory experience or related.

Compensation:
