About the role

In this part-time, temporary role, the Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for partnering with Professional Services leadership to identify, analyze, and deliver, audit and measure the results for inter-departmental process improvements and strategic initiatives required to scale the Professional Services function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the creation of standard operating procedures
  • Supporting the creation of templates
  • Partnering with Professional Services leadership to create a backlog of process improvement initiatives and scalability driven projects
  • Leveraging available data to collaborate with Professional Services leadership and team members to prioritize initiatives based on impact and effort
  • Performing the necessary impact analysis to quantify and validate the need for the change
  • Identify a clear cohort to use the planned deliverables to  validate our problem hypothesis
  • Gather information required to round out the business case
  • Deliver based on prescribed scope of work
  • Communicate progress as the delivery work is being done
  • Rollout the tools and orient / train the cohort to use the tools
  • Validate the impact of the initiative and the use of the deliverables

Skill Requirements:

  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform impact analysis and validate the need for changes.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Project Management:
    • Experience in project management, including the ability to create and manage backlogs of process improvement initiatives and projects.
    • Ability to deliver based on a prescribed scope of work and manage timelines effectively.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Experience in creating and implementing standard operating procedures and templates.
    • Proven ability to identify and execute process improvement initiatives.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate progress, collaborate with leadership, and train team members.
    • Ability to gather and present information required for business cases.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Strong interpersonal skills to partner with Professional Services leadership and team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Training and Orientation:
    • Experience in rolling out tools and training users on new processes and tools.
    • Ability to validate the impact of initiatives and ensure the effective use of deliverables.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficiency with relevant software and tools for data analysis, project management, and process documentation.
    • Familiarity with Professional Services operations and scalability projects is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in impact analysis and business case development.
  • Adaptability:
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • PMP or Six Sigma not required but preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
