What is the opportunity?
Senior Network Engineer working in a low latency/ trading environment supporting client/vendor and exchange/ co-lo connectivity for the U.S Capital Markets division. This is a highly challenging role with exposure to leading edge low latency network technologies. The role requires a strong background in network routing/switching/security and multicast. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to support the demanding business/application requirements of highly critical trading environments.
What will you do?
Expert-level exposure to highly visible network Engineering and Integration projects
High level of creativity while adhering to enterprise standards
Work independently and be proactive
Expected to have an opinion on current and future challenges
Work alongside the service delivery team to drive network deployments
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
10+ years of hands-on experience with various Cisco platforms
Expert-level enterprise-level routing, switching and automation with Ansible and or Python
Expert-level understanding of infrastructure security stack
IP unicast routing: BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
Cisco ACI
Silverpeak and Meraki SDWAN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient tcp/udp troubleshooting with Wireshark and or Ngenius
Nice to Have
Enterprise-level network design and integration
TCP-level troubleshooting
Exposure to financial industry networking
CCIE and or Azure/AWS certifications

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
