Your Day-to-Day: 

•   Provides engineering, design, and development support

•   Tracks and reports on project contractual execution and design progress

•   Delivers company standards, policies, and support of organization

•   Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings

•   Formulates research, and develops improvement measures

•   Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements

•   Ability to work extended hours

•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

Who You Are:

 

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: 

•   Bachelor's – Engineering

•   Experience: 3+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience, and Project Management.

•    Minimum of 3-5 years of metering experience is required.  Typical metering experience includes an ability to read protection & control drawings, understanding of instrument transformers including type, accuracy, & burden (CT, PTs, CVTs), familiarity with a variety of metering technologies with a focus on Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters.

•   Understanding of meter to meter (peer to peer) schemes, familiarity with iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) loss compensation methods for transformers, generator tie line loss compensation.

•   Sharing losses amongst different technologies or PPA customers, and the ability to program meters or create metering templates.

 

Preferred Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s – Electrical Engineering.

•  Master’s – Engineering Management.

•  PMP Certification.

•  Experience: 5+ years P&C/Subs/Metering Engineering experience. With 2+yrs of project management experience.
