New Job Opportunity - Senior Mechanical Engineer:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Middletown, RI. Looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer who has at least 5+ year of experience. GOVCON/Navy experience is highly preferred. Must have advanced proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Logistics of the Role:6 Month Contract to Hire - Our client is looking to pay within a range of 60/hr-63/hrOn Site - Middletown, RI - Hybrid (2-3 days a week on site)
Day to Day Activities:Develop requirements in collaboration with customer, subject-matter experts and project managers.Establish traceability to customer requirements and specifications.Validate all levels of supplier requirements against the customer requirements.Work with technical team leads and customers to define internal and external interfaces of the system and develop Interface Control Documents.Generate and refine the requirements and interface documents for customer acceptance.Identify impacts from customer requirement changes.Manage interface and requirements documents. Qualifications: BS Computer Engineering or a related degree5+ years or more of applicable experienceGOVCON/Navy experienceadvanced proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
