The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide leadership and creativity in exploration, design, development, optimization and implementation of processes and systems as a member of the Maumelle Plant Asset team.

In this role, you:

• Leads projects up to $10M, from conception to commercialization, and supports larger projects as part of a team.

• Works under the guidance of Asset Team Leader or mill leadership.

• Provides leadership in designing, developing, and optimizing Coform and converting equipment/processes.

• Builds expertise in engineering, analysis, and project management, offering advice to others.

• Ensures safety in all responsibilities, aligning with codes, policies, and guidelines.

• Promotes operator, maintenance, and personnel well-being.

• Identifies and resolves complex problems, including root cause analysis.

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:  

• Requires a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College or University.

• 4+ years of experience in plant or staff engineering assignments.

• Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) distributed control systems; instrumentation; power distribution

• Expertise in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects.  

• A demonstrated ability to perform in cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes. 

• Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in Coform manufacturing or converting processes, preferred.

• Experience working with external technical service providers, preferred

• Familiarity with machine installations and startups, preferred.
