Position Overview

As part of our Marketing Experiences Engineering team, you will implement exciting features that engage and influence Autodesk customers. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges.

We are looking for a Senior Data Developer to help us grow from our current walk stage of the offerings to aspirational leap/fly stages.

You will report to the Manager of Software Development.

This position is in the Bay Area and is Hybrid-Remote.

Responsibilities

• Align business objectives with data solutions by identifying key analytical needs

• Drive data innovation by exploring emerging technologies and methodologies

• Elevate data quality standards and define strategies for improvement across Autodesk

• Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines to support critical business functions

• Bridge the gap between business and engineering by effectively communicating data insights

• Create compelling data visualizations to unlock actionable business intelligence

• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven solutions with broad impact

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with big data (Flink, DataMesh, SQL) JavaScript, Python, data visualization (Tableau) technologies, React and latest front-end stack

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures

• Big Data Processing: Leverage big data technologies to process and transform large datasets efficiently

• Data Warehouse Optimization: Build and optimize data warehouses for data quality and accessibility

• Business Collaboration: Collaborate with business teams to understand and meet data needs

• Advanced Data Engineering: Develop and implement large-scale streaming data processing solutions(Parquet, Iceberg, Flink etc), design optimized data models, and apply advanced machine learning techniques and LLM techniques

• ML Model Deployment: Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models and build MLOps pipelines

• Leadership and Influence: Mentor team members, influence infrastructure, evaluate new technologies, contribute to product roadmaps, and effectively communicate technical concepts

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,300 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
