PURPOSE: 

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for working with business stakeholders to gather their data needs to design and build reports, visualizations and dashboards to draw insights and business intelligence. This position is instrumental in the development and tracking of KPIs and business metrics by leveraging internal and external data sources and utilizing visualization and reporting tools. This role is pivotal in today’s data-driven business environment where the use of data in problem-solving and decision-making is crucial.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Senior Data Analyst may be a hybrid position based in Brentwood, Tennessee or fully remote and will be a

key player in aligning business objectives with technical solutions, with the following responsibilities:

• Analyze organizational data, identify gaps, and recommend solutions that meet business needs and priorities. 
• Learn the Company’s business very quickly and engage stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of how data-driven changes can improve efficiency and add value.
• Build analytics solutions and perform data analysis to answer critical business questions and help inform business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine the data requirements, and design/develop data deliverables.
• Develop, and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations to e?ectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences e.g. visualization solutions of data into reports and visualizations to illustrate facts, trends, and insights.
• Develop and foster relationships with internal/external partners to manage work-streams and cross-functional deliverables.
• Support ad hoc data analysis projects and tasks as needed.
• Identify areas to improve e?ciency and process automation.
• Partner with senior leaders to improve data governance; develop stakeholder trust in data accuracy and cleanliness.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

• Relevant Bachelor’s of Science degree (e.g. business, healthcare, finance, computer science or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience as a data analyst working with business stakeholders, creating reports and dashboards, and performing data analysis.
• Experience with Azure, Synapse, Power BI (Microsoft) technology.
• Experience in SQL, Python and DAX.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather data needs and requirements and creating analytics solutions that meet those needs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete the work according to set goals and expectations with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively orally and in writing to English.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, medical staff, co-workers and external resources.
• Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Products. 
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management and external resources.
• Vision, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity needed to review and focus on documents and operate computer equipment for up to eight (8) hours per day with prolonged sitting.
• Must be able to work occasional nights/weekends/holiday schedule as needed.
