Senior Brand Designer & Creative ManagerACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTThis individual will play a pivotal role in building, managing and championing the VyStar brand through consistent and inspiring creative solutions and design. This individual will bring the VyStar brand to life and keep it consistent across all our various touch points for members and the community, as well as helping manage our internal resources and agency partners in the delivery of projects. The position requires in-depth knowledge of graphic design styles and layout techniques. They should have strong collaborative experience in executing marketing projects from creative briefing and conception to development and production, including digital/website, photography, animation/video, print and collateral.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive consistent application and expression of the VyStar brand identity and standards throughout the organization across communications, sponsorships, product marketing, community engagement, social media and across all marketing channels and platforms.
Conduct quarterly brand and communications audits with internal and agency partners
Manage VyStar’s visual brand architecture including corporate level branding, products and sub-brands (business units).
Leverage the brand’s visual system to communicate concepts in a compelling way while building brand equity.
Manage all creative design, from concept to delivery, including prioritizing work, reviewing and clarifying creative briefs, building and presenting concepts to stakeholders, and soliciting and incorporating feedback to finalize executions within agreed upon timelines and budget.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and create design solutions that elevate the VyStar brand throughout all touchpoints – products, retail branches, advertising, employee communications, events, social media, digital marketing, self-service templates and more.
Manage external agencies, vendors, freelancers and appropriately allocate resources to projects to ensure seamless execution of all design projects.
Manage VyStar’s digital asset manager (DAM), hosted in Adobe Experience Manager for managing all brands, marketing and creative assets and templates.
Champion, educate and train employees, leaders, and partners on VyStar’s brand identity and standards so that they consistently apply in their own work. Proactive in socializing and auditing brand standards as appropriate.
Generate ideas to portray concepts and support marketing of brands, products, strategic partnerships and services.
Stay current with industry development and tools, in particular demonstrating experience of integrating AI into workflows.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, or Visual Communications, or equivalent experience.
