This position will conduct comprehensive research to support B2B market research, market intelligence and/or competitive intelligence initiatives at TruStage. They will lead or assist in generating insights to inform strategy development and business planning by utilizing primary qualitative, primary quantitative, and secondary research methods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights on consumer sentiment, needs, preferences and behavior; B2B partner needs, preferences and behavior; market trends; and/or our competitive landscape.
- Build strong working relationships with Business Segments and Shared Service teams, ensuring effective collaboration and contributing to a high degree of teamwork.
- Develop and maintain appropriate research platforms and capabilities that support the team’s research agenda.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data, writing insightful reports, and communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead all elements of assigned research projects, including recommending approach and methodology, recruiting and scheduling participants, preparing artifacts such as discussion guides and prototypes, moderating interviews, and synthesizing results.
- Participate in or lead the development and execution of research roadmap, project prioritization, and stakeholder consultation.
- Serve as research subject matter expert and first point-of-contact to product, design, and business partners on defined products, audiences, and/or programs.
- Demonstrate critical and strategic thinking skills, synthesizing complex information and identifying trends to guide business strategies.
- Manage ambiguity effectively, fostering a positive and flexible environment to support iterative research processes.
- Act as a resource for fellow team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing research, competitive intelligence, business, behavioral economics, statistics, psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in diverse research methodologies, including primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas concisely.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask, work autonomously, and prioritize effectively.
- Critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, synthesize information, and distill key insights.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal clients.
- Proficiency in relevant research tools and platforms.
- Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity.
- Travel as needed up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior B2B research experience
- Experience with PowerBI
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
