Security Specialist

Position Summary: In the position of Security Specialist you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's security systems, radio infrastructure, surveillance camera systems, access control, and badge access.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Manage the company camera surveillance system globally, C‐cure access control and employee badge system, radio systems including FCC licensing and burglary alarm systems and vendors
• Act as a project manager for all security work including installation of new security equipment, site walks, security assessments, vendor management, and invoice management.
• Liaison with outside security firms, Risk Manager, Facilities Manager in implementing security measures.
• Conduct safety inspections, physical security checks and communicate issues with management.
• Handle site specific security matters. Protect evidence of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Assist with implementation of building security, safety training programs, policies and procedures.
• Assist with Security Officer duties as needed including travel, executive protection, and or executive driver.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Monster Energy Company’s policies and procedures and all state and federal rules and regulations. Develop documentation for standard security operating procedures.

Position Requirements: 

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field of study
• Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in law enforcement

• Preferred Certifications: Valid retired Law Enforcement CCW (Carry Concealed Weapon) permit. Valid CA BSIS (California

Base Pay Range: $67,000 - $84,625 (+)
