As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming and professional atmosphere, while you respond to incidents and support access control measures. Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and timely.

Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
