This position requires access to customer data. Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role.

All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.

 

Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring a few days onsite at our Herndon, VA office.

 

Job Summary:

The Security Analyst Intern at SAP NS2, will execute on deliverables, assist with continuous monitoring activities and security documentation.

The intern would aid in the development and maintenance of artifacts such as review of various vulnerability scans, tickets, and metrics required during the assessment and in support of the current continuous monitoring reporting requirements.

 

Job Description:

· Effectively participate in cross-functional project teams and the problem-solving process

· May create, review, deliver, and update security documentation (policies and procedures) for accuracy, create scripts for automation

· Provide input on processes, procedures, or new approaches

· Perform key Recordkeeping functions, minutes, etc.

· Perform work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures

· Assist supervisors in handling and resolving issues involving all security and various IT areas

· Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and management

· Adhere to internal procedures and best practices

· Project Management (Work streams including Change and Implementation, Technology)

· Solicits, develops, documents, and manages requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control

· Assist with environment assessments

· Assist with continuous monitoring activities

 

Preferred Skills:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized

· Understanding of cybersecurity

 

Requirements:

· This is a hybrid schedule. Must be able to work a few days a week onsite at our Herndon, VA office.

 

Education:

· Must be obtaining or have recently graduated with a college credited degree

· Degrees in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or International Relations are desirable
