SAP ETL Developer
Must be located in Portland, Oregon-Onsite-Hybrid
Job Description:
In the role of SAP ETL Developer, you will interface with technical resources, and apply your technical proficiency across various SAP platforms and stages of the development lifecycle including during data model design, development, QA and deployment.
You will play an important role in designing and developing ETL that will acquire data from a variety of data sources. You should have experience in acquiring data via both batch mode and real time. You will be able to support user acceptance testing and activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
Additional activities and responsibilities include participation in discussions with architects, translating requirements into technical design, technical specification authoring, design, development and documentation for current and ETL solutions.
You must be adaptable, eager to learn and acquire skills using new technologies with the ability to understand the principles of data modeling.
Summary of Required Experience:
- 4+ years working hands-on with SAP ETL Technologies such as Data Services (BODS), SDI, SLT etc.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP using HANA as a database
- Regular participation in requirement workshops
- Regular collaboration with end users and ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to project leads and end users
- Ability to create, change and maintain of artifacts that document solution design
- Proficient in performing data validation to ensure data integrity
Summary of Required Technical skills:
- Analysis, design, development and testing of complex ETL Cycles utilizing SAP ETL tools and development platforms
- Ability to apply parallel and sequential design concepts to ETL while ensuring correct dependencies are met
- Ability to troubleshoot load performance and integrity issues in all related layers in both source and target such as database, application, cache etc.
- Ability to implement back-end solutions using calculation views and table functions
- Ability to compile and interpret complex SQL
The base salary range for this position is $ 92,000 to $140,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
