Essential Functions
35% Under administrative direction, serves as the Salesforce Senior Developer for the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT):
- Performs complex professional and advisory Salesforce Development functions.
- Works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to determine and advise on business, functional, and technical requirements and processes.
- Translates business requirements into solutions that best leverage, support, and maintain the Salesforce platform and various integrations.
- Performs complex application design, configuration, testing and deployment functions.
- Leads the testing of software development efforts including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging, as well as managing timelines and producing technical documentation.
- Designs, develops, implements, and maintains the complex workflow rules, validation rules, and custom workflows.
- Provides technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for the more complex bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
- Utilizes best practices to perform operational support, maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform.
