What's your day like?

As a Safety Specialist at Union Wireless, you'll play a vital role in promoting Safety within our dynamic telecommunications environment. Your primary responsibility will involve traveling to and conducting job site safety audits that align with our commitment to safe working conditions, ensuring every employee feels safe while they are working. You'll have the exciting opportunity to assist in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive safety and health programs that aim for continuous improvement. Picture yourself guiding our cell site technicians as you teach safe climbing techniques alongside essential courses like OSHA regulations and defensive driving! Would you be a great Safety Specialist?

To thrive as a Safety Specialist at Union Wireless, you'll need a diverse skill set brimming with safety leadership and commitment. You'll serve as a role model for safe work behaviors, conducting job site safety audits and facility inspections to ensure a secure environment. Your investigative skills will be essential as you conduct incident investigations, document findings, and provide actionable recommendations to prevent future incidents. It's crucial to develop and conduct engaging safety training classes across all departments, covering vital topics like fall protection, OSHA 10, and CPR/AED/First Aid.

As a champion for Safety, you'll also ensure training effectiveness through feedback and audits while developing and maintaining databases to track safety-related information. A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, this role is for you!
